The Medtronic NIM-Response 3.0 is a four-channel intraoperative electromyographic (EMG) nerve monitor used during ENT, thyroid/parathyroid, parotid, neck dissection and other procedures where a motor nerve is at risk from unintentional manipulation. The system provides continuous audible and visual EMG feedback, an integrated stimulator with adjustable current, color-coded electrode placement guides, and three user modes (default or fully customizable). It is the mid-range model in the NIM 3.0 family (the NIM-Neuro 3.0 is the 8-channel version) and remains widely used in US ORs and surgery centers.
